You may find bar-related gift options available on Amazon useful as an alternative. I had to walk some two blocks away to the US Bank to get cash from the ATM. This is my only complaint and the bartender was kind and provided good service, too.

    A GAY PORTLAND CLASSIC

    Silverado has a been synonymous with gay life in Portland for almost 35 years now.

    Biggest downside is that the bar is cash only, but there is an ATM inside. Im not a damn criminal. Maybe you are looking for more of a quiet, laid back, sit-down bar with some modern twists? The dancers were good drinks were great. Previously named Flossie's, Silverado was originally located below one of Portland's infamous bath houses.

    Clearly this was not the dancers first time of doing this because the bartender was entirely sympathetic to me and apologized and I left.Too bad because there were several hot dancers. Except for that one "dancer."

  • The security at the front door took my ID and refused to give it back to me when I asked for it. The new and modern location offers a lounge, nightclub, full kitchen, and easy access to public transport.

    The Downstairs has you covered (it even has the hottest male entertainers in Portland). Sunday night I noticed that there was a dancer who I was not attracted to and who I thought danced badly.

    I was there early enough in the day that the downstairs wasn't open yet, can't speak for how it is down there.

  • After moving back to the PDX area from living in the eastern part of the USA, I had to Google up Silverado as it wasn't at it's original location and I saw that it has moved to it's current location on 6th Ave.

    I ordered a beer here and was informed that it's CASH only. Came out with friends to dance the night away and have a couple drinks? Flourishing among many other gay bars and gay owned business Silverado established itself as the premier gay men's nightclub. In December 2018 Silverado moved to its new location closer to the renowned Portland Pearl District and Old Town with its nightlife.

    To my dismay and not having any cash on me using my phone to pay for everything, it is the year 2025.
