It frames his bigotry as not just something which is excused because of his supposed genius, but as something we should laugh at, as an entertaining character quirk which shows how “no nonsense” he is. It’s scary that so many people bought into House as a character and the way the writers presented him, that audiences liked him and his bigotry and enjoyed watching him win every time. Editors are encouraged to add more recent information.
