  • Lil Nas X's fame has made it easier for him to come out, but he still acknowledges that there is work to be done in society's acceptance of the LGBTQ community. But within weeks of the video’s release, he confirmed that the two had since broken up. You know, we may date again, I’m sure.

Calling Ariza “the best person I have ever dated” and that the two were “still on very good terms,” he explained why the two decided to part ways, saying,

I love him; he is amazing.

I want a f-cking husband, and I want to have kids, and I want a house. But I was like, I don’t want to just live my entire life, especially how I got to where I’m at, just not doing what I want to do. Here's a list of celebrities that got into major trouble for partying...

  • Elton John, has called Nas “a hero of mine." He praised the singer to Variety for being "a bold and brave provocateur who’s making amazing and inspiring music.

The rapper and singer came out as gay in June 2019.

In an interview with CBS, Lil Nas X said he decided to come out when the attention was on him because it “would’ve been the most authentic time”.

“It’s like, I’m not doing it for attention,” he explained about coming out when 'Old Town Road' was at the peak of its popularity. I don't want to do that anymore. And, judging from all of this, in spite of everything, it’s clear how Lil Nas X has more than just proven over the years how unashamedly queer he is.
